In Brazil, where she is originally from, she was taught the importance of hard work by her parents. Although Amanda didn’t come from a privileged background, it never felt like a problem as long as she worked hard to achieve her goals. In 2016, despite having a stable career and comfortable lifestyle, Amanda made the decision to move to a foreign country to learn English and pursue a Master’s Degree in process optimisation; a field that fascinated her. It hasn’t always been easy she says, but it’s definitely been worth it and she know my journey is far from finished.
