Sandra Tuohy

Sandra Tuohy is the Services Director, Western Region for Insight and has been in the role since January 2023.

Running a business of circa 170 people – leading Sales, Practices & Delivery for Western Australia & South Australia.

Starting her career in Ireland, Sandra has over 23 years of experience in the Technology Industry more recently in Australia. Collaborative, results-focused, and motivated by her core values of accountability, integrity, and family.

Sandra is highly regarded for her ability to mentor and inspire large teams by leading from the front and prides herself on her ability to establish and maintain genuine customer relationships. Sandra has a consistent history of building and developing high performance teams.

Amanda Healy

An Adjunct Professor of Indigenous Business at Curtin Universities School and Business and Law, Amanda is working to provide sustainable income for Aboriginal artists through her work with KIRRIKIN and has developed a cultural invigoration program for Aboriginal women in prison.

With an MBA from Curtin Graduate School of Business and having completed the MURRA Indigenous Masterclass at Melbourne University, Amanda has guided a number of small (often Aboriginal) businesses to develop into sustainable enterprises. She was identified as an Inspirational Leader for 2019 by the AACSB and has sat on various boards, including the Wirrpanda Foundation, Curtin GSB Advisory Board, True Blue Dreaming Board and the WA Social Enterprise Council.

Dr. Kat Ross

Kat is an astrophysics post doctoral researcher using the novel technique of spectral variability to study active galactic nuclei and galaxy evolution. She has a PhD working with telescopes around Australia, in particular, using the Murchison Widefield Array, a radio telescope based in the remote outback of Western Australia.

She has worked extensively as a science communicator and activist for women in STEM including leading a national campaign, #IncludeHer, to correct high school courses to include a more diverse representation of scientists. Kat has also appeared as a host in the documentary “A Hidden Universe”, which aired on Channel 7 in 2022.

Kat is a proud bisexual and agender person and was diagnosed as an adult with ADHD. She is looking to help create safe spaces and welcoming environments for other LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse individuals in STEM.

Lacey Filipich

Facilitator

Lacey Filipich helps people become financially independent and reclaim their lives. Thousands around the world have used her Money School courses to liberate themselves from debt, start saving and investing, and raise financially capable kids.

Money School is also the title of her international award-winning book, out now with Penguin Life.

Lacey graduated as valedictorian from the University of Queensland with an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering (if you want to find out how a chemical engineer ends up teaching people about money, check out her TEDx talk.) She is the winner of the international Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards (Best Book 2022), a 2019 Business News ’40 under 40’ Award recipient and a LinkedIn Top Voice in Finance.
