About Barbara Goodwin

Barbara Goodwin is the founder of CareCorner. Her journey into disability and caregiving began with her son Winston. Inspired by Winnie’s resilience, Barbara set out to revolutionise care coordination and alleviate the pressures of caregiving.

With the collaboration of other parents, she designed CareCorner to provide real-time access to vital information, coordinating and managing the daily contributions of nurses and support workers. Barbara’s deep understanding of caregiving and insights from the disability sector have shaped CareCorner into a game-changer for families.

Barbara also serves as a Board Member for Kiind, a Council Member for the Disability Assembly of WA, a member of the Consumer Reference Group for the Rare Care Centre and an Ambassador for the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation.
