Charlie has spent 24+ years in Perth’s business, tech, media and startup sectors: from founder through to exit, as CEO, mentor, advisor / investor, writer, in federal and (now) state government.
Originally from the UK, he spent 8 years in Singapore before arriving in Perth in 1997. Graduating top of UWA Business School with an MBA he co-founded aussiehome.com in 1999, running it for 10+ years before a successful exit. He’s run reiwa.com, Business News, eGroup, GMA, Property Tribune, Startup News, invested in half a dozen startups (some of which are still alive), and co-hosted Startup West podcast. Away from work, you may find him drumming in a blues band or sampling Shiraz.
