Genevieve is a Singaporean-born, Australian-acclimatised scientist and entrepreneur with a distinguished career in medical research. Specialising in genetics and infectious diseases, she received an Honorary Mention for Excellence in Research. Genevieve’s expertise in CRISPR and rare diseases has been featured on radio and at international conferences in the USA and Germany, where she earned presentation prizes. Her academic contributions include 15 journal articles and a book chapter.
As a businesswoman, she launched a wellness-promoting dance business, expanding to a city location within two years and gaining media attention for raising funds to support women suffering from domestic violence. With over 15 years in research and 8 years in business management, she now serves as Chief Operating Officer at SynGenis.
