Grace Mugabe

After years of working in an industry leading multinational mining corporate as a Senior Site Accountant, Grace decided to find a way to merge her love for accounting and helping other women by starting a purpose driven business called Financially Empowered. Witnessing women trapped in situations and relationships they couldn’t leave for financial reasons made her even more resolute. She realised that if she could help women improve their financial acumen it would empower them to take back some control of their situation. Grace facilitates financial workshops to empower migrant women, high school girls, female entrepreneurs and women in corporate roles equipping them with commercial acumen skills to enable them climb the corporate ladder. Through her speaking engagements, she encourages women to never let their age, gender, race or any other descriptive term influence what they want to achieve. From a young age, Grace has been involved with numerous community initiative and is currently the Treasurer on the Advisory Board of 100 Women – a philanthropic giving circle which provides impactful grants for women round the world. Every year Grace facilitates free financial literacy workshops for women in Zimbabwe.
