In 2015, Jas and her spouse relocated to Australia, where she embarked on advanced education and a career in the IT industry. She earned her Master’s degree in Information Technology from Curtin University. Her journey began at WesCEF as an intern Service Desk operator, where she secured a one-year project contract. After number of contract roles, she moved to RioTinto as a permanent staff member as Mobility Specialist in 2023.
Jas’s trajectory from an international student and intern to a contractor across various firms, and ultimately a full-time RioTinto employee, has significantly bolstered her self-assurance and communicative prowess. At her previous role, she mentored numerous interns, aiding them in recognizing their capabilities and guiding them towards their professional objectives.
