Katherine is the eldest of four children and was guardian to her youngest brother from when he was 5 years old. At law school and while supporting her mother as a single parent, Katherine was awarded the Ciara Glennon Memorial Scholarship, recognising her contribution to active, voluntary community interests in a charitable, cultural area outside of law, balanced well rounded approach to life and genuine concern for others.
Katherine took the opportunity to work in London as a lawyer, where she met her husband.
Katherine’s biggest achievement is her two children. She role models for them that you can have a successful career, be a good mother, wife and leader. You don’t need to sacrifice motherhood or strong morals.
