Katie van den Brand is the Meshpoints Lead, an initiative that aims to provide practical support to local innovation facilitators who deliver social benefits to regional communities. Katie has previously worked across the innovation and startup, mining and resources, not for profit, and education sectors after studying her B Sc. (Psychology). She has been keynote for the WiTWA Tech Trails program, and invited to speak at Regional Innovation conferences across Australia. A true country girl, Katie lives and works from the South West after being raised in the Great Southern, and loves her nomadic work life balance that allows her to travel across the 9 regions of Western Australia while supporting her two children.
