Lauren Amos puts the A into STEM (TEAMS!) to collaborate, learn and unleash creativity through technology. With a background in engineering, psychology and the arts, Lauren helps organisations innovate to get value out of technology. Lauren is also involved in building technical capability and engagement in Perth through her involvement in the Perth Machine Learning Group and the Perth Artifactory Committee.
As recipient of a 2019 Fringeworld STEM grant, Lauren produced an interactive display using machine learning to engage the people of Perth, by coordinating a team of volunteers to develop and showcase their skills and in technology and making. Lauren continues to encourage diversity in technology through mentoring Women in Machine Learning workshops, and promoting and organising making events.
