Maria took the biggest bet of all, a bet on herself! Two years ago, Maria decided to give up her lucrative, decade-long career in the oil and gas industry to pursue her true love for data and coding. Formally trained in software and database management, Maria went on to get a master’s degree in Data Science Strategy and Leadership. Maria is currently living her dream where she gets to apply data analytics, machine learning, and AI to solve complex business problems.
