Marjolein is a champion for women. She was the long-running Chair of WITWA and led the creation of Techtrails. She’s helped hundreds of women by making connections, providing mentoring, lending a helping hand (and the occasional shoulder to cry on). She’s inclusive and creates a welcoming environment for men and women of all ages.
Marjolein was responsible for securing the first corporate sponsorships of WiTWA and negotiating the use of corporate facilities for events. She recognised the need to rebrand WiTWA to appeal to young women while still welcoming original members. She embraced social media and blogging, long before most organisations understood the benefits.
Marjolein is the Founder and Director of Consultas and has clients in Australia, Asia and Europe.
