Rebecca Handcock is a Senior Data Scientist with a PhD in the spatial sciences. She is inspired by visualising patterns in data and communicating the stories they tell about people and the environment.
Rebecca works with data analytics, visualising large datasets, and translating between the technical and applied sides of projects. Her research ranges from using remote sensing and sensor networks to monitor agriculture and water, to recent projects focusing on health, research evaluation, bibliometrics, and AI. Rebecca is enthusiastic about support and mentorship for women in STEMM disciplines.
