Ruth O’Dwyer

In her current role as a Primary School Educator, Ruth firmly believes that STEM will create a pathway to provide students with skills to succeed in the future workforce. She provides a female role model for students to showcase that STEM is fun, exciting and can cross boundaries such as art, music or robotics. Instilling the value of a growth mindset in every lesson Ruth believes that it is the ability to deal with failure that will create successful STEM innovators of the future. Sharing what she learns with others, she provides peer coaching to support teachers with STEM programming and implementing technology into the classroom. Ruth believes everyone can contribute and give back, and that if we all gave just a little bit, there would be many more amazing changes taking place.
