Currently employed with the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, Vanessa is passionate about supporting the many innovative companies and individuals based in WA. She is a member of the WitWA Communications Sub-Committee.
Prior to her current role, Vanessa provided communications and marketing for a large-scale Department of Education secondary school, which led to a great interest in the Public Education sector. Arts and Tourism are other keen areas of interest, having also worked for the WA Symphony Orchestra (WASO), Flight Centre and Crown Perth during her career.
Vanessa posses a Certificate III in Tourism, an undergraduate degree from Curtin University (Public Relations and Journalism) and is currently undertaking a Master of Business Administration at UWA.
