Yael is a clinical psychologist, researcher and supervisor with a passion for digital health. She is currently the Giorgetta Family Fellow in Youth Mental Health at Telethon Kids Institute. Yael is excited about the potential for technology to improve engagement, access and uptake of mental health interventions, especially in marginalised youth. She works closely with digital innovators worldwide and is currently leading several digital health projects aimed at improving the mental health of LGBTIQA+ young people. Yael established the Digital Health Working Group and is an inaugural member of the Gender Equity Diversity and Inclusivity Council at Telethon Kids. She has received multiple research and innovation awards, including the Mike Schon-Hegrad Award for innovative applications of IT to benefit research.
