With eight years of professional experience in engineering consulting and project management, Zarina has had the opportunity to work on major Western Australian projects such as the Perth Children’s Hospital and the Forrestfield Airport Link projects.
Zarina is a fervent advocate for Inclusion and Diversity, is a trained facilitator in unconscious bias training in her organisation and champions STEM education for girls.
She was one of the 25 women engineers who participated in STEMBuildMalawi in May 2019 – the first ever women-only expedition to Central Africa, where a team of engineers fundraised for, designed and built a STEM classroom at the Rainbow Hope Secondary School in Mangochi, rural Malawi.
